missy posted a Christmas meme. she didn't tag anyone but... i'm doing it anyway. =)

1.) Wrapping paper or gift bags?
i like to get wrapped presents, but i know just sticking a gift in a bag is so much easier...

2.) Real tree or Artificial?
real trees smell good. but they die and all the needles fall off.

3.) When do you put up the tree?
usually around two weeks before Christmas.

4.) When do you take the tree down?
january of february. the all-time record i can remember was march.

5.) Do you like egg nog?
ew no.

6. )Favorite gift received as a child?
a wii, last year =)

7.) Do you have a nativity scene?
yes. it takes forever to set up. =p

8.) Hardest person to buy for?
my sisters.

9.) Easiest person to buy for?
my mom, the candle obsessive.

10.) Mail or email Christmas cards?
psh, i don't care.


11.) Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
when i was 4 i asked for a real tornado and got a toy vacuum cleaner.

a Christmas carol, it's a wonderful life, the grinch with jim carrey

13.) When do you start shopping for Christmas?
uh... a week before?

14.) Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
haha, nope.

cheesecake. apple pie. chocolate pie. M&MS!

clear. i remember one year we put clear lights on our tree... and huge, tacky blinking colored ones.

God rest ye merry, gentlemen, o holy night, o come all ye faithful

18.) Travel at Christmas or stay home?
stay at home.


19.) Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's?
dasher, dancer, comet, cupid, something, something, donnor, blitzen. and rudolph.

20.) Angel on the tree top or a star?
star.

21.) Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
we open one present on Christmas eve, usually pajamas. we open the rest on Christmas morning.

22.) Most annoying thing about this time of year?
"happy holidays" and all the commercialism. it makes me sick.


23.) Favorite ornament theme or color?
psh. our ornaments have no coherent theme.


24.) Favorite dinner for Christmas?
uh, rolls. and butter. lotsa butter.


25.) What do you want for Christmas this year?
a good easel. roller skates. a webcam.


26). Do you bake lots of goodies during the holidays?
i don't bake. i eat.


27). Do you decorate different rooms of your home?
uh, not really...


28.) What decorations do you put outside?
a wreath. nothing else. we're scrooges.
(i had to google "a Christmas carol" to remember that it was the word "scrooge" i was looking for. I FAIL.)

29.) How do you spend Christmas Eve?
vegetate in the living room, read the Christmas story, watch a Christmas movie, open Christmas eve presents.

30.) Is Christmas your favorite holiday?
